TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I'm not someone that typically leaves reviews, but the management of this property really is AWFUL and you should AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS -- they have zero focus on customer service and seem to relish improperly enriching themselves at their guests expense. In April 2024, I reserved four rooms for a visit with my family in August 2024 - while I intended the reservation to be fully refundable, through some glitch only three of the rooms were booked at a refundable rate one was not. I cancelled 48 hours after making the reservation -- still four months before the scheduled visit. The hotel subsequently charged my credit card over $2,000 USD (the full amount for the visit). Despite numerous emails, the hotel has refused to issue a refund -- hiding behind hidden terms and conditions, some sort of booking glitch, and their refusal to be a "judge" for the reasons for the glitch. There are many wonderful properties with reasonable management in Copenhagen -- stay at one of those! (And I wish I'd read more carefully the TripAdvisor reviews below that seem to confirm that the management of this property really is problematic.)

Way over priced, closer to a cheap B&B/hostel than 4 star hotel.

No way is this a four star hotel! It’s a tired old B&B/hostel, in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Unique selling point of 1970’s/1960’s vibe is used as an excuse not to spend money much needed to bring hotel up to the standards of a four star. Designer chairs (which again is used a USP) would look so much better in a clean establishment. Cheap thin rough corduroy carpet, built in painted cupboards/shelves, curtains that didn’t cover window, insufficient plug sockets, no coffee machine (old tired kettle), extremely tired bathroom, unhygienic shower curtain, limescale on shower head, poor lighting, no key card, poor WiFi that constantly dropped/lost connection. During our 2 night stay our room was not cleaned. ‘Wine hour’, between 5pm - 7pm unnecessary, save money and spend on long over due refurbishment. Breakfast served in a beautifully presented cafe next door, who should disassociate with hotel asap. Great choice of food which was freshly prepared and very well presented, staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome in Copenhagen. Save time/money/disappointment and book somewhere else - the chairs and the 70’s vibe are just not worth it.

We had a lovely stay here, facilities were very good, it was spotlessly clean, staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast fabulous. The free wine 5-7 was a lovely touch and with water and coffee available in reception, what more can you say. If you wanted to ride, they had there own bikes available and it’s proximity to Tivoli was fab. Overall I’d really recommend this hotel - opt for breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.

Small friendly hotel. Team are really helpful. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Location is central and in walking distance of Copenhagen’s main attractions. Complimentary wine available in reception each day. Breakfast available at hotel restaurant or there are lots of coffee shops to have breakfast nearby.
